AU Yarning Circles at Roseworthy and Waite

Open-air Kaurna Yarning Circles for education, meetings and informal gatherings will be created at Roseworthy and Waite, to represent聽our聽commitment to supporting and sharing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.聽

The vision for 黑料社区 University is to create a consistent experience for staff, students, affiliates, alumni, visitors and the broader community at each campus. This includes a coherent approach across campuses to inclusivity, cultural sustainability and connection to country. While most campuses have already embedded design elements known as learning or yarning circles into the external public realm, Roseworthy and Waite have not.

Project detail

Open-air Kaurna yarning circles will be created at Roseworthy Campus and Waite Campus with landscape elements that express a connection to place that is specific to that campus and implicitly creates a positive connection between the campuses.
