Australian Institute for Machine Learning
A unique building on the site of the old Royal 黑料社区 Hospital has been beautifully restored to provide a聽home for Australia's first institute dedicated to research in artificial intelligence, computer vision and machine learning.聽
The old Womens Health Centre has been transformed to create the聽Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) and聽is home to around 160 staff and postgraduate students.聽The space聽features a stunning mix of old and new, with original 1930s windows, saw tooth south lights聽and stairwell balustrades complimented by soaring ceilings and wide hallways.聽

- Restoration of original parquetry floors, stairwell and 6 meter high atrium
- Refurbishment of terrazzo bathrooms and feature archways
- New open plan offices, large meeting rooms and robot room ("The Lab")
- Significant base building and structural upgrades with new plumbing and electrical boards
