Features

Stage 1 of the project involved construction of a bird-proof enclosure to help avoid the unwanted spread of genetically modified material outside of the facility, and a secure animal proof perimeter fence.

Stage 2 of the project involves grant funded construction of聽an equipment washdown bay within the existing enclosure, waste treatment and disposal area, and聽a shed to store farm equipment.聽The shed is off-grid with solar, batteries and a backup generator.

Stage 1 completed August 2021.
Stage 2 completion February 2024.
