The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood

Before The Handmaid's Tale, there was The Penelopiad, a feminist spin on Homer's Illiad and Odyssey. Penelope tells her story from the afterlife, from miraculous birth to marriage with the cunning Odysseus. When war erupts, Penelope is left to fend off relentless suitors, relying on her loyal maids to survive. Friday 23 May to Sunday 1 June, various times.
