The Fay Gale Centre invites you to visit the Wise and Wonderful WomenÌý·¡³æ³ó¾±²ú¾±³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô being held at the Ira Raymod Room at the Barr Smith Library, University of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø between 15th May and the 9thÌý´³³Ü±ô²â.
The exhibition explores the working lives of women academics in South Australian universities from 1970 to 2024. It draws on findings from a Fay Gale Centre project that critically examined historical and biographical reflections of women who worked in ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s universities. The project focused on their academic career paths, personal experiences, changes in the university environment over time, and the factors that influenced their decisions to resign or retire.
