University pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi
On Saturday 2 October, the PVC(I) attended the Indian Australian Association of South Australia’s (IAASA) annual tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 152nd birthday.
Alumni Story - Moutaiz Al-Obaidi
Moutaiz Al-Obaidi, from Iraq, studied a Masters of International Business at the University of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. He is now a frequent festival headliner at events such as Splendour in the Grass, Beyond the Valley, and RCC at the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Fringe.
International Student Story - Joash Tham
Singaporean student Joash Tham is the winner of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Uni’s Got Talent, taking home the grand prize with his song ‘ºÚÁÏÉçÇø For Me’. Joash is currently in his third year of dental school at the University of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø.
International Open Day launched successfully
On 17 and 18 September, the University of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø hosted International Open Day to offer an immersive experience to commencing and prospective students.

Australia Awards completion celebration
The PVC(I) attended an Australia Awards Completion Ceremony to congratulate the achievements of 19 Australia Awards Scholarship holders who graduated with Master degrees from a diverse range of programs.Â
Signing ceremony launches SACE International scholarship
The PVC(I) hosted a COVID-safe signing ceremony to launch the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) Scholarship, under the University of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s Cooperation Agreement with SACE International.

Australia/Malaysia webinar series
A University of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø professor will be speaking as part of a series of webinars to share experiences on the delivery of online education and research during COVID-19 and discuss sustainable, innovative approaches to quality online education for a future beyond the current pandemic settings.
