Every student is provided with a University account. You will use this account to access all University IT resources.听Your account is in the format of your student number followed by听@adelaide.edu.au听e.g. a1234567@adelaide.edu.au

To activate your account, you will need to know your student number. When you are ready to activate,听click here.

Please note that as part of the account activation process, you will be prompted to set up Multi Factor Authentication, which you can read more about below.听
听

You will be prompted to set up Multi Factor Authentication when activating your University account.听This adds an extra layer of security to your account to protect both you and the University.听

You can use the University鈥檚 OKTA Verify app, your preferred authentication app including Google Authenticate, Microsoft Authenticator, or Apple Passwords.

Your University email address will be the same as your University account username
e.g. a1234567@adelaide.edu.au

You can set up this email account on your personal devices using Microsoft Outlook, or your preferred application/s.

You can access the internet on campus by connecting to the University鈥檚 WiFi network from your personal devices, including laptop, phone and tablet.

Microsoft 365 (Office)

Current students have free access to all key Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Forms, as well as OneDrive where you can store files.听

You can access the applications online or install the software locally on your device/s.听

Endnote is the University's recommended reference management听application. To request your free licence .听

Qualtrics

All students are able to create surveys using the Qualtrics platform. To access your account , and login with your University account.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe provides significantly discounted Creative Cloud subscriptions to students and teachers, which you can see by听.听

Zoom

All students have access to a Zoom account. To access your Zoom account, and log in with your University account.听

LinkedIn Learning

All students at the University of 黑料社区 have unlimited access to an extensive range of free online learning videos to support professional and personal skills development. To access LinkedIn Learning,听.

Specialised Software

Other software available to students includes ArcGIS, IBM SPSS Stastistics and AMOS, Matlab, Nvivo and Stata. For information about these听click here.听

All students are provided with $18 of free printing every six months (periods begin 1 January and 1 July). You can see a list of printing costs by听clicking here. Students can top up their quota if needed once they have used their $18 quota by clicking here.听

To print a document your device will need to be connected to the University's WiFi network, and you will need to print to the听Follow-You-Print-Q.听On the nearest printer you can then scan your Student ID card or login using your University account to release the print job.听

OneDrive

Students can store files on OneDrive using their Microsoft 365 account.听To access your account听, then听log in with your University account.听

Box

All current students are able to store files on the Box platform. To access your account and login with your University account.听

There are a number of Student Computer Suites available across the University of 黑料社区 for students who need to use a computer.

Students requiring assistance to obtain a personal device needed for study may consider applying for a .

Your student number, also known as your a number or student id number听will be included in the welcome email sent to you by the University of 黑料社区 after you have accepted your offer.听
