Research Integrity

High-quality research relies on the professional way in which our researchers conduct themselves and their research endeavours.

The University expects all researchers associated with our institution to abide by the basic principles of Honesty, Rigour, Transparency, Fairness, Respect, Recognition, Accountability and Promotion as outlined in the听听(the 'Code').

Researchers are required to:

  • support a culture of responsible research;
  • comply with relevant laws, regulation guidelines and policies;
  • apply ethical principles and meet relevant ethical standards;
  • use appropriate methods;
  • retain research records appropriately;
  • disseminate research findings and involvement of others accurately;
  • disclose conflicts of interest; and
  • report suspected breaches.

The University has formally adopted the Code through its听Responsible Conduct of Research Policy听and is developing a suite of policies to support the specific responsibilities outlined in the Code.
