Fast Feedback for First Year Students with Studiosity Writing Feedback Plus
All students at the University of 黑料社区 have access to online academic support through the Studiosity platform, where they can submit assignment drafts to the Writing Feedback service, and speak to subject specialists using Connect Live.
First year undergraduate students who are transitioning into university study, getting to grips with assignment expectations, and learning time management skills, can often need a little more support. Currently, the University offers this extra support by providing Writing Feedback Plus (WF+) Studiosity鈥檚 genAI writing feedback service for these students.
If you are coordinating or teaching into a first-year undergraduate course in Semester Two 2025, you can help your students access support when they need it by doing the following:
- Showing this two-minute slide at the start of your next class or, alternatively, sharing this.
- Reminding students regularly, and especially in the lead-up to assignments, that they can seek out-of-hours help with writing, research, referencing, or core maths, and science by accessing the University鈥檚 Studiosity service in their 鈥楢ssignment Help鈥 section of 鈥楳y Uni鈥 for any course.
- Including the following out-of-office message for students contacting you out of hours: 鈥淎ll students have free access to afterhours study help and writing feedback with the university鈥檚 Studiosity service. Find Studiosity in the 鈥楢ssignment Help鈥 section of 鈥楳y Uni鈥.鈥
To help first year course coordinators and teaching staff to encourage students to make the most of Studiosity WF+ we are also offering a number of online familiarisation workshops across August and September 鈥 to find out more about WF+ and explore ways to embed Writing Feeback Plus into your classroom activities.
