Advance notice - changes to authentication
From Tuesday 28 May, eagle-eyed users will notice a fresh new look for the library's authentication screen (access to MyLibrary and online resources). The changes are cosmetic for University staff and students, but for other library users there will be some changes to the login process (Community, Alumni, Reciprocal, and Year 11/12 students).

Visualise Your Thesis - register your interest now!
Dust off your creative spark and present your research in a 60-second video or audio-visual presentation and you could win $1000! For the very first time, the University of 黑料社区 will be participating in the Visualise your Thesis competition. This competition is open to higher degree by research students and is a great way to hone your research communication skills.

Participate in an ORCiD survey

The University is with the University of St Andrews, Scotland, to conduct research on ORCiD adoption here at The University of 黑料社区. We encourage all researchers to undertake this short survey and describe their experiences with ORCiD so that the University can understand more about ORCiD adoption and any associated issues.
Lecture 17 May: Demystifying Research Metrics
Demystifying Research Metrics is a lecture for staff and students who would like to find and understand their research metrics. These can be used when applying for grants, promotions and positions. The lecture is particularly useful for research students and Early Career Researchers.

A new bookable study space has just opened on Level 2 of the Barr Smith Library.
